And dedicated to Lance corporal Tommy scott;

When Tommy was a young boy he decided he wanted to be a soldier. He was not sure which branch of service he would select until his junior year high school when he joined the United States Marine Delayed Entry Program. On January 3,2010 Tommy was off to boot camp located in Parris Island, SC. 13 weeks later on March 27, 2010 he earned his Eagle, Globe, and Anchor and Recruit (Rct) Scott became Private (Pvt) Scott. For the next month Pvt Scott was sent off to Marine Combat Training (MCT) in North Carolina. After graduating in May 2010 from MCT he was sent to 29 Palms, CA to further his training for his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) as a field wireman. While in 29 Palms he was promoted to Private First Class (PFC) Scott. Once MOS training was completed he was assigned to 1st Division, 2nd Batallion, 11th Marine Regiment located at Camp Pendleton, CA, . There he continued training which included spending may hot days and cold nights in the Mojave Desert . During this time he was promoted to Lance Corporal (LCpl) Scott. Then on October 31, 2011 LCpl Scott headed out for his 1st deployment to Kajaki Dam in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. He will return to the states safe and sound in June of 2012!!!
